No… Some eyes are still sensitive to sunlight even when in a vehicle. You also have to take in account the angle of the sun shining in their face.

When I drive, I wear sunglasses; I pretty much need them. I feel uncomfortable without them, because I drive a van, and its windshield is big enough for me to see a good amount of sky; so when there is white cloud cover, the whiteness of the clouds while the sun is hitting them is blinding to me. Anyway, I’m going to be taking my drivers test soon at the DMV. Now I know that they want to see you checking your mirrors and scanning around you and looking both ways and stuff. I’m fine with most of it, I check my mirrors and scan often. Problem is, I’m not sure that they will catch all of it with my eyes behind my sunglasses. Soo, is it ok to keep them on, or sacrifice my comfort for to make it more obvious that I am a safe driver?

Your head always moves slightly when you check the outside or inside rearview. The examiner will know you’re checking the mirror. You don’t want to do things anyway just for the sake of appearing to be a safe driver. If you are a safe driver, then just drive how you drive and there won’t be a problem.

I’ve always wondered if I have sunglasses on and get in an accident that causes my airbag to deploy, could it be dangerous? I.e. the airbag causes the sunglasses to break and/or push them into my eyes and possibly blind me? I always tell myself if I think I’m going to have an accident to quickly throw off my sunglasses, but surely if this were a common danger there would be warnings not to wear sunglasses while driving? Anyone know?

i dont think they would break because the lens are flexible so if you break them apart the would go the other way but if you try lreally hard to break it the other way yes you can so basically no the direction the airbag is coming out wont break the lens(so you dont go blind)
