Review by Bull Moose Bait for Costa Del Mar PERMIT (Gunmetal, Green Mirror 580 )
    Rating:
These sunglasses are hands down the finest polarized fishing sunglasses I’ve ever used. They are very comfortable for a larger-than-average sized head and the optical quality is fantastic. You can wear these from sunrise to sunset and your eyes don’t get tired and they offer great visibility into the water. Construction seems very good and the glass lenses seem durable so far without being heavy. I bought these because my older and more expensive polarized glasses seemed to trap the wind inside of them and direct it back at my eyes resulting in dry and irritated eyes. Basically, if there was even a slight breeze behind me, my eyes would be watering from the wind being directed off the inside of the lenses at my eyes. With these Costa Permits, I don’t have any of those problems. they seem to vent perfectly while still offering complete wraparound coverage.

One thing that you may not be able to see in the pictures that I was pleasantly surprised with is the rubber lining on the inside of the frames and earpieces. These help hold the glasses in place on your face, especially when wet from rain or sweat. But, even with this feature, I still need a Chums strap to cinch them to my head so they stay put. I do a lot of musky fishing and spend all day looking down into the water watching for follows. The Chums strap holds them in place nicely.
