Question by Eli: What are some popular styles of sunglasses worn in the military?
I’m signing my contract tomorrow (Army Infantry) and I need a new pair of glasses. I’ve got a pair of Costa Del Mar (really nice fishing glasses) Harpoon 580s. However they are blue mirror with a tortoise frame. Which is far from military regulation. So what are some good sunglasses people are wearing in the military. I’m willing to spend up to 0.

Best answer:

Answer by wraeth
You will get issued a pair of both clear and dark eyepro. When we are working that is pretty much all we are going to wear. If you want some different ones make sure they are on the APEL list, otherwise you are wasting your money. APEL is Army Protective Eyewear list, either that or at least make sure they are ballistic, to know that look on the frames or lens it will say Z87 on it.

How?
I wear a cap and the sun still gets in the eyes

Best answer:

Answer by ReMiiXeD
Let your eyes adjust a little before you start playing. Keep your eye on the ball so you don’t look at the sun too much. Also stay hydrated.

Basic question,at least for me in my ignorance.Old paintball mask. I want the goggle lenses to be mirrored like Aviator sunglasses or a motorcycle visor. Is there a cheap and effective way for me to do that? Do I need any specific chemicals? Are those chemicals legal for me (15 years old) to buy w/o an adult present? At all in the first place?

Best answer:

Answer by SSP Bowl Dude
You need special chemicals and equipment. Both cost more than a new pair of goggles

Question by MomMom: If a cyclist crashes into a pedestrian that’s jaywalking, who is at fault?
Suppose a pedestrian chose not to use an available pedestrian crossing. They cross one lane of stationary traffic and look for cars crossing on the opposite side. They see no cars, so they start to cross.

A bell rings, and there’s shouting, and the pedestrian freezes in place when they realise a cyclist doing 20mph (who is legally on the road, not trying to ride on the sidewalk/pavement) is heading straight for them. The pedestrian stops like a deer in the headlights, and there’s an accident.

The cyclist, wearing protective gear, escapes relatively unharmed but with high monetary losses from a new front wheel, new helmet, and new sunglasses. The pedestrian has a fractured skull and went to the hospital.

Who is at fault? Should there be a lawsuit? Which insurance covers this if it’s not on auto insurance – does homeowner’s cover cycling accidents?

Best answer:
