Bolle makes a great pair so does Oakley. My favorite, because they are a little cheaper, is Tifosi, Edwin Watts sells them as well as other golf shops. About pair. I used to wear Bolle and Oakley now only Tifosi.

Not sure but I just got myself a new addidas sunglass designed for golfers. Very sleek and cool. The sides are totally covered so I don’t get those white flashes at the corner of my eyes.

I wear Smith&Wesson shooting glasses, I know this is an odd choice but they have amber lenses that help me see the ball traveling down the fairway. I had a problem losing balls because I didn’t see them land before that. They are affordable mine were 12$ dollars, and are scratch and shatterproof, so if you play with a friend who has terrible aim at least your eyes will be safe.

Polarizing light that was previously unpolarized will reduce its intensity by 50%, so polarized glasses could help reduce the intensity of sunlight out on the golf course. However, the main reason for polarized sunglasses is to “eliminate” polarized light. The best example of this is sunlight that is reflected off the surface of water (which is approximately horizontally polarized). Fisherman get vertically polarized glasses to eliminate the horizontally polarized light reflecting off the water so they can better see beneath the surface of the water. So I really don’t see much of a benefit of polarized lenses on a golf course besides the intensity decrease in sunlight that passes through them.
