No… Some eyes are still sensitive to sunlight even when in a vehicle. You also have to take in account the angle of the sun shining in their face.

Question by MrTom: isn’t it a bad idea to wear sunglasses while driving a car with airbags?
I guess a car without airbags is worse, but surely an airbag exploding into your face is safer if you are not wearing sunglasses?
