Polarized sunglasses are a must to cut down on surface glare for any type of fishing in the daylight. Brownish instead of gray or black colors increase contrast. Stay away from flashy frames that might catch the sun and spook the fish like a signal mirror.

I have not seen any of the sunglasses, but I would suggest some dark but NOT black.

Is there a color that’s good for driving at night that will reduce glare and improve your vision? I’m thinking amber, but I’m not too sure.

Amber would be best however you may just need clear polarized lenses. That will cut glare without dimming the illumination. Consider that first and speak to an optometrist or ophthalmologist first.
You may also check with your local driver testing sites and see if there may be any restrictions about sunglasses while driving at night. You just never know!
