Question by Arggg: What kind of tinted sunglasses are best for driving at night?
Is there a color that’s good for driving at night that will reduce glare and improve your vision? I’m thinking amber, but I’m not too sure.

Amber would be best however you may just need clear polarized lenses. That will cut glare without dimming the illumination. Consider that first and speak to an optometrist or ophthalmologist first.
You may also check with your local driver testing sites and see if there may be any restrictions about sunglasses while driving at night. You just never know!

Question by Thing: Why is it legal to wear sunglasses while driving but illegal to have your front windows tinted?
I don’t understand why in California, it is illegal to tint your front car windows because of safety/vision issues but at the same time, people are allowed to wear dark sunglasses.

Basically it is a Police thing. They don’t want an obstructed view of the driver. They want to be able to clearly see into the car. Alot of places wont even let you tint the front seat side windows.
