Some pros actually do wear sunglasses while playing.
Edit: Do Martina Navratilova’s and Billie Jean King’s glasses count? Samantha Stosur and Rennae Stubbs have been number 1 in doubles. So pros do wear them.

I used to wear glasses, and hated having to wear them while playing tennis. Switched to contacts just to get away from that.
The lenses get dirty or covered in sweat, and then you can’t see very well. Or they just get annoying. When you get sweaty, they start to slide around on your face (even if they fit well).
That, and they do somewhat limit your vision. I don’t even like wearing a hat because of that.
Janko Tipsarevic wears glasses for his vision.
Karlovic used them at Wimbledon, but if your interest is about serving a tennis ball, well if you do it correctly, unless it’s perfectly 12:00, you don’t have the sun in your face.
It’s almost useless to great tennis players. Some do get annoyed by sun somehow and wear them.
Federer doesn’t wear sunglasses on court, neither does Nadal. But, it’s interesting to note Federer wears a cap when he practice or warm-up while he prefer a headband. Also interesting his main rival does… exactly the same.
